From The Pastor’s Desk
Greetings and already predestined blessing for year 2020. As the Pastor, and along with the members we would like to invite each, and every one of you to the blessings in the ministry for the cause for Christ at Silver Grove Immanuel Missionary Baptist Church. Words cannot express the gifts of the Holy Spirit and the fruit of the Spirit that the Savior shows on all who seek Him for it.
There is already a revelation that invites you to our Church because He who testifies these things says, “Surely I am coming quickly.” Amen. Not only that, even so Come! And the Spirit and the bride says, “Come!” And let him or her who hear say, “Come!”
The world at large exemplifies the epitome of the Savior of the world invitation to come to Him. I believe our ministry at Silver Grove Immanuel Missionary Baptist Church is the epitome of Christ’s revelation to the world. The gates of righteousness are open to everyone who seeks it. Will it be YOU? There is nothing extravagant about salvation nor is it appealing. It is believing in the unseen. There are no words I have that can inspire you, I just pray the Holy Spirit draws you because if the Holy Spirit draws you, God our Father will keep YOU! The peace of our Lord be with you.
“Yours in the Cause for God’s Kingdom”
Reverend Dr. J. Warren Parsons
First Lady Prayer
Dear Holy and Kind, Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit,
I give you Thanks and praise your Holy name for our lives. Thank you for our many blessings and for your grace, your mercy, your love and your kindness. It is our desire to do our best in service. Help us as we strive to work in Your will. Father in your great mercy You have given us new birth into a living hope through the resurrection of Jesus Christ.
You are so merciful. Please forgive us for our sins and wash us like only you can. When we are sad it is You that makes us happy. You remind us that weeping may endure for a night, but joy come in the morning. When we are sick, it is You Oh Lord that heal us. We remember that You Lord God that was wounded for our transgressions, and bruised for our iniquities, the chastisement of our peace was upon You and by Your stripes we were healed. And we say THANK YOU! When our loved ones pass away, it is you that carries our sorrows. It was You Oh Lord when we were lonely You said you would never leave us nor forsake us.
Oh Lord our Father, we are Your children and we realize that we have many needs. Lord, we ask that you take the lead as we seek to reconstruct our lives for your service. Give us the talents, and abilities to convince the unconvinced. Lord as we study your word, give us purpose; Open our minds so that we will have understanding. Then Lord help us to live the truth that we gain from the Word so that our living will glorify you and impact unbelievers. Let our young youth pray each day and thank you for taking care of them and help them to understand how to live a life that pleases you. Let us remember Your blood that came down when You were on the cross. That everything is in You that we seek.
In the name of our Lord Jesus Christ Amen.
